Hello,
Our last month has ended and we are now in Ireland. Our month in the Ukraine was spend largely with the youth of the local Salvation Church congregation. We went on a week long "camping camp", spent time with church families in their homes, went to a local "nature park", went swimming in different locations, played soccer, celebrated a few birthdays, and just lived life.
In regards to your question Mrs. Belkot (comment on last blog), I have enjoyed every ministry I have had the opportunity to participate in, but do have a fond memory of fixing the bicycles.
Thank you everyone for the support.
Love Michael

Hello,
Our month in Romania is going well so far. We are in the capital city Bucharest. The ministry (2 houses / 5 or so buildings in total) is called Casa Shalom, and it was originally started as an orphanage. At the moment the focus has shifted from orphanage (at one time having 40 '+or-' children) to camp center, center for supporting the poor, and facility to host teams.
Since arriving we have done three main activities. The first being household chores, including cleaning/organizing, mowing grass, painting, and cooking. The second was putting on a rummage sale. This required sorting donated clothing (shirts, pants, shoes, ties, etc.), repairing bicycles, and then hosting the actual event.
The third and most prominent activity has been hosting kids camps. The first week we were here there was one four hour day camp scheduled. This week (currently) there is a Monday afternoon through Friday afternoon (if all goes according to plan) camp in which the kids stay and sleep here at the Casa. The age range is around five to fifteen, many are brothers and sisters, and most are vanned in from poorer towns/villages in the local countryside. This week there are around 50 children. Each day we all eat three meals, participate in singing and dancing, learn English, music, and crafts, play sports, and just hang out.

Greetings,
Togo ended last month for me with ministering at the local fishing huts near our house, visiting a village a few hours away, and painting at an orphanage. Also, one of our teamates, Courtney, had to return home for health reasons.
Then we went into debrief where our teams were changed. The new team is - Melina, Alana, Rebekah, Jessica, DJ, and myself. I hope it works out well, and it seems to be doing so. This month we have been working with the church Christ Heart. Our main ministry has been evangelism and widow feeding. I really do hope everyone is doing well, and I appreciate all of the prayers.

This week we had the opportunity to tour the Mercy Ship, Africa Mercy, which I enjoyed. You can read about Mercy Ships on wikipedia. Another enjoyable opportunity I had was to read the book Tortured for Christ. I am about to leave to visit the orphanage. Thank you all so much for the prayer.

Hello
I wanted to update that things have gone well in Togo and we are now moving out to a ministry location. The plan is for a group of people to live in two rented homes and work with an orphanage and the community at large. Please pray this works out and I hope you are all doing well.

Hello,
We are now in Togo. Last month ended with a few more school and church visits, as well as a visit to the largest prison in Ghana. I really enjoyed going and sharing at the prison. I hope everyone had a nice Easter season. Thank you for the continued support and love.

H ello,
We have been, and are, in Accra Ghana for the remainder of this month, and things are going well. We have shared at 4 or 5 different schools; have been to a few villages; and aired the Jesus film, the Passion, and the Peace Child in the local "square". This is definitely one of the 'poorest' areas we have been to, but I am at an internet cafe right now. There is a TV commercial I have seen that says 3 out of every 5 Ghanaians lack close/reasonable access to potable water. Our message however is being received well. Thank you all for your prayers, and continue to pray. I think of you often.

This week is our last in Siem Reap, we leave on the 6th, and Lord willing we will then go to Ghana, Africa. I want to say Happy Birthday to my Grandma, and also everyone else that reads this. Please continue to pray.
